This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to remove delete a label using the Label Enhancer for JIRA.
Identify Labels to RemoveDelete:
In the Label Operation, you'll see a list of existing labels.
Use the checkboxes next to each label to select the labels you intend to removedelete.
Initiate the Removal Deletion Process:
After selecting the desired labels, click on the Remove Delete located at the top of the label list.
Note
When removing more than one label, make sure to click the Remove Delete button at the top of the Label Operation page. Avoid clicking the red trash icon in the row of a single label, as this action will remove Delete only that specific label, even if multiple labels are selected.
Confirm RemovalDeletion:
A confirmation modal will appear, listing the labels you've selected for removaldeletion.
Review the list to ensure accuracy.
Click on the Remove Delete button within the modal to proceed.
Completion:
Upon successful removaldeletion, you'll be redirected to the bulk operation process page.
A success message will confirm that the selected labels have been removedDeleted.
1.3. Constraints
Ensure that the labels are no longer needed before removaldeletion.
If you lack the necessary permissions, contact your project administrator.
1.4. Potential Issues
Insufficient Permissions: If you encounter a permission error, verify your access rights or consult with your project administrator.
Non-existent Labels: Attempting to remove delete labels that don't exist or have already been removed deleted will result in an error. Refresh the Label Operations to view the current list of labels.
1.5. Understanding the Bulk Operation Progress modal
This page displays the status of ongoing bulk operations, including details such as the type of operation, progress, and any encountered issues.
It allows administrators to monitor and view bulk operations effectively, ensuring that label changes are applied globally as intended.
By following these steps, you can efficiently remove delete multiple labels within your Jira project using the Label Enhancer for JIRA app.
