To Delete a Category within the Budget Management appfor Jira, follow these steps:

1.2.1. From your admin section, on your left-hand side menu click on the cog (blue star) settings icon, this action will take you to the overview page.

1.2.2. On the left-hand side menu, click on "Category", which will open the Category's panel list.

1.2.3. Choose the category you wish to Delete from the list by clicking on the "Delete"(blue star)icon, and confirm that you want to proceed with this operation by clicking " Okay."

1.3. Constraints

When it comes to Deleting a Category , there are a few important considerations.

1.3.1. Not having the necessary permissions will prevent you from successfully deleting a CategoryOnly users with admin permissions can perform this action.
