This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to delete multiple labels simultaneously using the Label Enhancer for JIRA app via global administration.
1. Deleting Multiple Labels via Admin Page
1.1. Prerequisites
Ensure you have the necessary Jira administrator permissions to access the Label Enhancer for Jira via global administration.
Verify that at least one label exists to delete.
1.2. How to Delete Multiple Labels
Access the Label Manager:
Log in to Jira as an administrator.
Navigate to the main menu and click on Apps.
Select Manage apps from the dropdown.
Locate and click on Label Enhancer for JIRA to open the Label Manager.

Select Labels to Delete:
In the Label Operation, browse through the list of labels.
Use the checkboxes next to each label name to select the labels you intend to delete.
Initiate the Deletion Process:
After selecting the desired labels, click on the Deletebutton located at the top of the label list.
Note:
When deleting more than one label, make sure to click the Delete button at the top of the Label operation page. Avoid clicking the red trash icon in the row of a single label, as this action will delete only that specific label, even if multiple labels are selected.
Confirm Deletion:
A confirmation modal will appear, listing the labels selected for Deletion.
Review the details carefully to ensure you are deleting the correct labels.
Click the Delete iconwithin the modal to proceed.
Completion:
After confirming, you will be redirected to the bulk operation process page.
A success message will confirm that the selected labels have been deleted successfully.
1.3. Constraints
Double-check that the labels are no longer needed before deletion.
Only users with Jira administrator permissions can perform this action.
1.4. Potential Issues
Insufficient Permissions: If you encounter a permissions error, confirm your admin rights or consult with a higher-level administrator.
Non-existent Labels: If the labels have already been delete, refreshing the Label Operation can update the label list to avoid errors.

This page displays the status of ongoing bulk operations, including details such as the type of operation, progress, and any encountered issues.
It allows administrators to monitor and view bulk operations effectively, ensuring that label changes are applied globally as intended.
