1. Delete an Income/ Expense

1.1. Prerequisites

A user with editing permissions can delete an Income/ Expense of a specific budget.

1.2. How to

To Delete an Income/ Expense within the Budget Management for Jira app, follow these steps:

1.2.1. Go to the Budget Management for Jira panel.

1.2.2. Choose the budget for which you want to Delete an Income/ Expense by clicking on the budget name link. This will take you to the overview page.

1.2.3. On the left-hand side, click on the Plans tab, which will open the Plans list panel.

1.2.3.1 To access more information about the plan, click on the arrow located on the left side next to the plan's name.

1.2.4. Choose the plan you wish to Delete from the list by clicking on the "Delete" (blue star) icon.

1.3. Constraints

When it comes to Delete Plan, there are a few important considerations.

1.3.1. If you don't have the necessary permissions, you'll encounter difficulties when trying to Delete an Income/ Expense.

1.3.2. If an Income/ Expense payment has an associated actual payment, it cannot be deleted.

1.4. Issues that may arise

When you attempt to Delete Plan, there are several potential issues that you might encounter:

1.4.1. If you don't have Delete permissions for the budget you're working with, you won't be able to Delete the plan.

1.4.2. Additionally, if you forget to fill in the necessary fields, an error message will be displayed.
