1.2.1. Go to the Budget Management for Jira Configuration Page.
1.2.2. Choose the budget for which you want to Update by clicking on the budget name link. This will take you to the overview page.
1.2.3. On the left-hand side, click on the Income/ Expense tab, which will open the Plans list panel.

1.2.4. Choose the plan you wish to edit/update from the list by clicking on the "Edit/Update" 
icon.

1.2.6. Finally, click the "Update" button to save your changes.

1.3. Constraints
When it comes to Update Plan, there are a few important considerations.
1.3.1. If a planned payment has an associated actual payment, it cannot be deleted.
1.3.3. If a plan has at least one actual payment, the plan type is not updatable.
1.3.4. A plan must have at least one planned payment.
1.4. Issues that may arise
When you attempt to Update Plan, there are several potential issues that you might encounter:
1.4.1. If you forget to complete a required field during the update, the plan creation will not be successful.
1.4.2. Ensure that you possess the necessary permissions; lacking the required permissions will impede the plan creation process.
1.4.3. When attempting to update a plan, you may encounter the following issues:
- If you lack editing permissions for the associated budget, updating the plan won't be possible.
- Forgetting to fill in the necessary fields during the update will result in an error message being displayed.
