Similar Labels - Global Administration
This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to find similar labels using the Label Enhancer for JIRA app via global administration.
1. Merging Multiple Labels
1.1. Prerequisites
Necessary Permissions: Ensure you have Jira administrator permissions to access the global administration.
Existing Labels: Confirm that at least one label exists in your Jira instance to search for similar labels.
1.2. How to find Similar Labels
Access the Label Enhancer for JIRA:
Log in to Jira as an administrator.
Navigate to the main menu and click on Apps.
Select Manage apps from the dropdown.
In the left-hand sidebar under Apps, select Label Enhancer for JIRA.
Input the Label for Similarity Search:
In the left-hand sidebar under click Similar Labels and locate the search input field.
Enter the name of the label for which you want to find similar labels.
Initiate the Search:
Click the Find button next to the find input field to start the search process.
View the Results:
A list of labels similar to your input will be displayed, allowing you to review and manage them as needed.
