1.1. Parent of Cascading Select Field

Parent of Cascading Select Field [Toolbox for Jira] will display the parent value of the selected Select List (Cascading) custom field;

• Go to Custom Fields, click Add custom field, and select field type Parent of Cascading Select Field and name it.

Then in order to get the parent value for this field, search for your newly created custom field and configure the field options:

• Click Edit Field Options

• And please select a Cascading Select Field to get the parent value and save.

• After save, the selected field will be displayed as below.

• Add the field to the due screen/s. After creating an issue and fill the fields, you will be able to see on the view screen of the issue the Parent of Cascading Select Field
