Edit a Label - Global Administration

This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to edit a label using the Label Enhancer for JIRA app from the admin page.

Ensure you have the necessary Jira administrator permissions to access the Label Operation in the admin page.
Verify that at least one label exists to edit.
Navigate to the admin Label Operation page in Jira.

Access the Label Enhancer for JIRA:
- Log in to Jira as an administrator.
- Navigate to the main menu and click on Apps.
- Select Manage apps from the dropdown.
- Locate and click on Label Enhancer for JIRA to open the Label Operation.

Initiate the Edit Process:
- In the Label Operation, browse through the list of labels.
- Click on the Edit iconadjacent to the label name you wish to edit.

Modify the Label:
- An Edit modal will appear, allowing you to change the label's name.
- Enter the new label name in the provided field.

Confirm the Changes:
- Click the Edit button within the modal to apply the changes.

Completion:
- After saving, you will be redirected to the bulk operation process page.
- A success message will confirm that the label has been updated successfully.

Only users with Jira administrator permissions can perform this action.
